The Feather River has reports of moderate action on Steelhead to 10lbs. The Sacramento river needs a little rain and the Sturgeon action should begin soon after. I recently fished the Smith River with Frank Duarte where we went 5-6 on Steelhead to (he says 10 I say 12 lbs) sidedrifting roe. What a trip!! That is a river that every die hard fisherman must experience!! The Smith is low and clear but is still producing fish in excess of 20lbs!!!
