Fishing for Stripers in the Colusa area continues to produce some great fishing. While we are catching a lot of “shakers” there are also still some really nice fish out there. Biggest fish was in the 7-8 lb range today, but but very steady action once we got on the fish. Fish were caught using both cut bait and jumbo minnows. Shad are also beginning to show up in the valley rivers so that should pick up steam in the weeks to come. Start booking your King Salmon trips ASAP as prime dates are filling up fast. Based on Bay reports and counts at the Red Bluff diversion dam, this is shaping up to be a banner year!!
