Sacramento River King Salmon fishing remains steady as we are currently averaging about a fish per rod. As always, some days are better than others. There are more and more fish moving into the system daily and I would expect drastic improvement in the next couple of weeks through the end of September. While the numbers are not there yet, the quality sure is! These chromers are averaging a whopping 25lbs per fish so far (largest 36lbs) and they are fighters!! Folks, this is a big fish year and not the year to miss out, I only have limited dates still available. Take care and fish on!
