Fishing for King Salmon continues to be tough on the Sacramento River. Most of the fish have been shooting through the system creating a tough bite. With the flows having just been reduced and the start of the full moon cycle, fish should start moving in and holding in the holes a little better. Yesterday we went 3 for 5 which was better action than that of last week. Hopefully a sign of things to come. Best bet has been plugs early and switching to either backbounced or drifted roe. I had two cancellations and now have September 12th and 14th available.
