Well the weather cooperated and we were able to fish the last few days of the Salmon season on the Sacramento River. Saturday my daughter and I caught a beautiful 42lb male, what a way to go out. Sunday fished with a friend and his son and we got shut out. What a day on the river though!! The weather was perfect, lots of people having a great time fishing, not a lot of fish caught this day but fun anyways!! Hopefully next season will return the numbers of Kings we are used to seeing up here. We’ll be playing with Steelhead for a while and then going after Sturgeon.
