Striper fishing in the Colusa area has slowed due to warming water and the full moon. The fish that were up in the Colusa area are headed south. The Stripers that are present are spawning with this moon and we’ll have to see if more will show up later, as for now, they have one thing on their mind and it’s not feeding! However, this is the time of the year that the biggest fish are usually caught. Every year fish over 40lbs are caught during this time! The trout fishing in Redding has been excellent with large numbers of Rainbow Trout being caught. These are beautiful fat Rainbow trout and the scenery and wildlife in Redding is awesome. Take care and hope to see you out there.
