Sacramento River Salmon Fishing- Sorry for the lack of reports. We have been awaiting the final decision for our 2008 Salmon season. The decision came down last week and they have shortened both the limits and season for us. They completely shut down the Feather and American Rivers for Salmon. The Sacramento River Salmon season will run from November 1st through December 31st and each person will be allowed 1 fish per day. The only section of the Sacramento River that can be fished for Salmon during this time is from Knights Landing north to the Red Bluff Diversion Dam. Stripers were up and down this year, most action was south of Grimes. The Shad are already showing up and should be in full swing shortly. Lake Oroville Bass fishing is consistent for Bass using reaction baits. The Coho fishing is also doing well either mooching or trolling. Thanks for checking in and take care.

We had a great time with Keith...and Buster of course! Keith is very patient and an excellent teacher. His boat is very neat and organized and he was prepared with a small arsenal to ensure our trip was successful. I highly recommend Tail Chasers Fishing Guide Service.
