Sacramento River Salmon Fishing will be open in 2009 from November 16th through the end of December from Red Bluff to Colusa. They actually shortened the season over last year by 2 weeks. This time of year is not known for large numbers of fish being caught, but the late fall King Salmon that we catch are quality fish and usaually larger in size. This is the time of the year when the monsters show up! Typically the boat traffic is minimal which makes for a relaxing day on the river. Last year we had some great days even with the lower than average flows. Book early to get the date you want!! Being such a short season, this will fill up fast.
