The Sacramento and Feather Rivers are set to open for King Salmon fishing on July 16th.  This is typically an outstanding fishery with plenty of opportunities for catching Kings by both experienced and novice fisherman.  We typically fish plugs and roe using light, quality gear; and these fish fight hard!  The Feather River currently has limited access due to the lack of water being released, however the Sacramento River is looking good!
