Fishing remained the same on the Sacramento River for King Salmon this week. One day you have to work all day for one bite and the next day you might get bit a dozen times doing the same exact thing?? Our best bet has continued to be backtrolling plugs. The roe bite has just not developed. We did catch some very fresh fish this week, a couple with scales so there are new fish moving into the system, they just seem to be coming in low numbers and if you are in the right place at the right time you get bit. The bay reports are up and down so trying to predict if the run will be late or never is next to impossible. Take care
