Sacramento River Salmon Fishing has finally caught some steam. There are lots of fish in the system and they are biting! We are averaging a little under a fish per rod this week. The fish are beautiful!! This is definately a big fish year! We lost one today that was well over 40lbs (yes the one that got away, but we did get a couple of good looks at him!) Most fish this year are averaging around 20-25lbs with over 30’s not uncommon. Look for things to catch some steam in the weeks to come as numbers are up and flows are down so these fish should start holding. I still have prime dates available, call to get in on the action!!
