Sacramento River Salmon fishing opened on the 16th and we saw better action this year than the last couple of years. There were more fish caught and we saw several fish rolling. There were also reports of some big fish being caught which could lead us to believe that the theory about last years fish staying out in the ocean for one more year might hold true!! Maybe we will get a double run this year to make up for last year!! Who knows?? Never hurts to think positive! Things will really start to heat up in August and September so book your trips ASAP.
