Sacramento River Salmon Fishing Report- This is more of a story than a report. I just received these photos of an absolute monster King Salmon found dead in Battle Creek just below the Coleman fish hatchery. The fish was 4 1/4ft long and weighed 85lbs dead. It would’ve broken the state record if it would’ve been caught alive. They guessed it to have weighed in the 90’s and the Sacramento River record is 88lbs. In fact it may have been the largest Salmon ever caught in the country, with that record at 97lbs!! I put the photos in the photo gallery for you to see. Fish on!!!
